French bi-lingual nurseries in North London

NORTH LONDON

There is now a wide choice of French bilingual nurseries in North London areas including Crouch Hill, Tufnell Park, Islington and Kentish town:

  • Les Petites Étoiles in Crouch Hill and Tufnell Parkles petites etoiles

The two Petites Étoiles nurseries are in Crouch Hill (for aged 6 months to 4 years) and in Tufnell Park (from 1 to 4 years old).  The Crouch Hill nursery applies the Montessori approach to both French and British curriculums. Both nurseries follow both the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and the French Curriculum. They prepare children so that they can enter either the “Moyenne Section” or “Grande Section” of the French school or Reception of the British educational system.

  • Mars Montessori Bilingual School in Islingtonmars montessori

Mars Montessori welcomes children from 18 months old and 4 years old. It follows the Montessori approach to its bilingual curriculum, as well as offering Mandarin. Pupils benefit from the gentle approach and from the clear advantage of learning three languages at a young age. Children move from Mars Montessori to other bi-lingual schools in the capital or to Prep or primary schools in North London.

  • La Petite École Bilingue in Kentish Town

La Petite École Bilingue welcomespetite ecole bilingue children in the nursery from 3 years old. It follows the National Curriculum of England and the Education Nationale French programme. Pupils benefit from dance and music classes. The children stay at the primary school (which has 140 pupils) until they are 11 years. After which they move to French bilingual schools in the capital or to other independent schools.

  • Le Collège Français Bilingue de Londres (CFBL) in Kentish Towncollege francais bilingue de londres

CFBL welcomes children in the nursery from 3 years old. This London school is accredited by the AEFE (Agence pour l’Enseignement Français à l’Étranger). It offers a bilingual and bicultural education to its 700 pupils. Half of the courses are in French and half in English (13h/13h). The pupils stay in this school for primary education and, if they chose, can stay until they are 15 years old.
